How long have you got?! We have 46 years to catch up on!
This is my umpteenth blog, but it feels like my first.
I have had a Flickr account for almost two years now, which is called suesviews. I really enjoy photography as a hobby and the feedback and encouragement I get from fellow Flickrites inspires me to carry on documenting bits of my life and sharing it. It’s the same with blogging, which I began at the same time as I opened my Flickr account, late in 2005. So, it seems only right to call this, my first ‘real me’ blog, by the same name.
My views…
You may not agree with them all, but I hope you will find something here to inspire or encourage you. If not, then please send me inspiration and encouragement! This blog marks the start of a brand new beginning for me, started at a time when my whole world as I knew it has changed beyond belief. I thank my wonderful cyber-friends that I have already found for following me here and look forward to a positive new beginning…
Thanks for checking me out. Don’t forget to say hello

Your photography is fantastic….you ARE a photographer and not just as a hobby. You seem to have a natural talent for it. Don’t sell yourself short.
thank you, lovely ladies
xXx
Hi Suze,
I really like your blog. Besides pafiberartist at flickr, I have a blog too (http://sewhisword.wordpress.com).
Karen and I love your art work and photography. I am so glad you love journaling too. Have you heard of Sark? Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy. She is a very inspiring writer and artist. When she first started she actually hand wrote and illustrated 10,000 posters.
She has many books and I actually have one of her signed copies. The website is http://www.planetsark.com/ She’s a riot!
Take care and best regards,
Susan
Ah I’ve found you again. My blogroll dematerialised whilst I was out of blogspace and in any case you’d moved…
Hi Caroline! Great to see you again
and Susan, thanks so much for stopping by, and leaving such a wonderful comment. I love Sark and found a book of hers recently. Thanks so much for leaving the link!

I did a search on ‘rust technique’ and your site came up. I see several of your links that are favorites of mine (the least of which is the 1000 Journals project).
Have you heard of the Yahoo group Belle Papier? You should check it out — it’s a cyber salon full of artists who work in every medium known to man.
In looking at your “Try It Tuesdays Week 6 – Rust Technique”, the caption says, “No gesso or acrylic paints ~ improvise, improvise!
” How did you make this gorgeously intense art piece? I’m a member of the Yahoo group, Color Postcards Swap and this next month’s color selection is Rust and Metallics. Thus, I’m looking for a way to create the look of rust on paper.
What is the Try it Tuesdays weekly project? How long will is the project scheduled to run and are the prior weeks projects available?
Thanks in advance for your assistance, and for posting your beautiful work…
Regards,
Carol Westover
